Spending time surrounded by nature’s grandeur allows us to relax, open our hearts and reconnect with our inner-selves; re-awaking to the magnificence of who we truly are.
A good skier always focuses on the fall-line of the slope and controls his or her speed through edging and turns. It’s similar to being in the alignment with your truth; being in alignment with the natural contour of the slope. Instead of focusing on a tree trunk or rocks, because your skis tend to move towards where you look, I focus on the rhythm of the terrain while taking in the beautiful scenery and joy of being exactly where I want to be.
What a beautiful way to connect skiing with how we see the truth. I especially love "your skis tend to move towards where you look." Look at the beauty around you and you'll receive more! Thanks, Catherine!
