This past Wednesday, native American, Gene Stone presented a wonderful evening of prayers and dancing for our beloved Mother Earth. It was an amazing and soulful experience.
People were asked to bring drums or rattles if they wanted.
The evening began by reading The Flames of Faith. We don’t usually do that on Wednesday night, but always read them on Sunday morning to establish unity consciousness.
After the Flames of Faith, we watched a hauntingly beautiful video.
The entire evening was about gratitude and love. Each one of us had an opportunity to read or recite a gratitude prayer. We drummed our silent gratitude for peace and for the victims of 911.
Then we danced, in the traditional native way for our unity and collective and individual desires for a healthy planet, clean air and water, and respect for all life.
The entire sanctuary was filled with the energy of love. No one wanted to leave at the end of the ceremony. We simply wanted to be with each other sharing mutual love and respect.
That is what love feels like.
