SUNDAYS: Meditation 10–10:15am (in-person only) • Gathering & Music 10:30am (in-person and virtual)

Earlier this week, we were shocked to hear that Alex Mercado, Rev. Pattie and Fred’s son, had been in a serious bicycle accident. He was hit by a car while biking home at night. Rev. Pattie sent an email to our prayer ministry immediately asking for prayer support. She said what had happened. Then she said we would know what to pray for.

Our entire community is praying for him. Many are visiting Rev. Pattie in the hospital. Evidently visiting hours are strictly imposed in the Trauma Center, where he is receiving top-notch care, and many surgeries and procedures.

Alex tells his mother that he can feel our prayers.

What is the power of prayer? It is life-changing. Prayer heals.

Alex has been in this philosophy his whole life. More importantly, this philosophy, this teaching, this way of life is in Alex as his very nature!  He knows it. He uses it and he is a wonderful demonstration of the principle in manifestation.

How can you help? Send your prayers and love to him.

Rev. Pattie was scheduled to speak tonight at Wednesday’s Wisdom. In her place, Rev. Karyn and Rick did a special healing service in Alex’s honor. If you were here at the service, you felt the power of Love.

You can email messages to our Center or to the Huntington Beach Center. We will make certain that love notes and words of encouragement get to Rev. Pattie, Fred and Alex.

Who you are makes the difference. The vastness of Infinite Love resides within you now.

In the way that we pray, we do not see someone who needs to be fixed. We do not see something or someone as broke. We deal with first cause. We are dealing with an unlimited principle, all-power. We use it consciously. We see everything as whole, perfect and complete. And then we give great thanks. We give thanks for the principle and for knowing that it is always working.

What can we do? We can pray! And it is enough!
