We all have varying degrees of masculine and feminine energy guiding our lives. The masculine is about doing; the feminine favors being. When we allow these two halves of the energy equation to work in balanced harmony, manifesting magic happens.
My good friend, Lisa McClure, recently introduced me to Law-of-Attraction coach, Leigha Lake, who guides clients in integrating feminine and masculine characteristics to support and attain business and life goals. Leigha lives with her husband and young family on Maui, a goal she manifested for herself, and has a six-figure part-time coaching business. Her formula?
Allow feminine energy to lead the way and the
masculine energy to provide the necessary support.
Leigha uses the lighthouse as her teaching symbol. At the top of the lighthouse, you have the light. That symbolizes the abstract and unknown such as your intuition, creativity, trust, and faith. Below the light is the structure of the lighthouse, symbolizing the linear, step-by-step processes or forward-moving thinking. Much of what she suggests is restoring trust in the relationship between the feminine and masculine; trusting that you can be available to your intuition (feminine) and respond to it (masculine).
An example of a masculine way to use your energy is trying to motivate yourself to do something when you’re not motivated or doing something when you are super tired. Instead, consider letting the feminine lead the way. Make feeling happy, peaceful and content your first priority. Recognize that your internal world (self-talk, feelings, etc.) is more important than anything else.
Affirmations Leigha suggests include:
- I’m exactly where I need to be. I’m always in the right place at the right time.
- Everything I want wants me. Nothing that’s meant for me can pass by me.
- I am safe and secure. I am being fully supported by the Divine.
By following your intuition you harness your magic so that what you do create is what you really want.
So in this month of love, I encourage you to be present with the most sacred of marriages, the feminine and masculine energy within your own being. Give yourself the gift of integration, honoring the feminine as much as the masculine. Take more time to be a full human BEING rather than human DOING. Honor your dreams and visions and allow the steps you take to support those.
If you do, share your experience in the comments! Also, if you are ready to dive into this process in-depth, Lisa McClure is hosting a 6-week Feminine Energy Laboratory starting in February. She was trained by Leigha and has a wonderful insight into working with this energy and applying it to your life. I will be there!
