Intention is simply claiming what you want to happen.  Where we often go “sideways” in our intention, which leads to frustration, unhappiness, and anger, is that we set intentions based on opinions or input from other people.  We make career decisions based on “what our parents have done,” or “what makes the most money,” as opposed to listening to the guidance within that brings us so much joy.

Listen closely:  Feeling JOY is a sign that we are on the right path in our lives.  If it brings you joy, you’re on the path to your vision we spoke about in Day 2! Intend on feeling joy everyday, no matter who tells you it is wrong, not the right way, or not the way to earn money.  Keep close to your heart the feeling of joy, and your intention will manifest in your life!

Today’s Spiritual Principle:  Intention

Quote:

“Our intention creates our reality.” Wayne Dyer

Affirmation:

Today, I set small, specific intentions and watch as they come to fruition.

Practice:

Experiment with the power of intention.  Give yourself a specific end-result for the day.  Maybe it’s in alignment with your job, your family, or your own creative expression.  Whatever it is, see your intention being successful at the end of the day.  What does it look like?  What does it feel like?  Imagine yourself there and do not think about the “how” of getting there.  Simply be in the end-result and watch how it unfolds.

Do this everyday and see how your life transforms with the pleasure of seeing daily goals unfold.
