21 Days to a Spiritual Lifestyle – Day 16

It is said, that if we want to receive love, we must first give love.  But what is love?

It’s God, the Universe, Spirit.

Call it what you will, but it’s that inner being that lives within our heart space, filling us with Life. Our breath, our circulatory system, our heartbeat is God’s Love pulsating through our physical body every second of every day.  Our joy is God’s love emanating from us.

We are given God’s love every second of every day.  We have the ability and the responsibility to spread it.  Not only to the obvious friends and family, but to the birds we see flying in the heavens; the grass that grounds our feet to the Earth; and the sun that warms our world.  Sending love to nature’s abundance will invite more love into our lives.  Allow love to flow freely to you and from you.

Today’s Spiritual Principle:  Love

Today I give love.  Everywhere I go, to everyone I see and to the Presence that I do not see, but feel and know exists.

Today, practice the presence of love.  Whenever you see a person, mentally say, “I love you” as you pass them. You do not have to touch them, look at them, or verbally say it, just bless them with your thought as you pass.

Be present to the gifts of love you receive in return.
