Gratitude is the “fuel” of living your best life.  It’s one thing to give thanks for the lovely things in your life, but it’s another to find the thing to be grateful for in the hard

times.  Giving gratitude expands your experience and invites more good things into your life.  Practice gratitude every hour of every day, and notice the beauty turning up in your life.

Today’s Spiritual Principle:  Gratitude

Quote:

“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” John F. Kennedy

Affirmation:

Every hour today, I find something to be grateful for and I express it, I feel it, and I live it.

Practice:

Become present to your life every moment today.  Start to notice the small blessings that show up over and over again and when they do, give thanks for them.  Say, “thank you” when a breeze hits your face giving you a feeling of aliveness. Say “thank you” when the scent of coffee hits your nose and warms you to the core at Starbucks. Say “thank you” when your dog greets you happily at the door.

The abundance of blessings we have in our life every day expand our experience when we notice them and give thanks for them.
